SYNOPSIS
Upset the World focuses on transforming the world by connecting with God's people through His methods rather than our own. It's about stepping beyond our comfort zones to reach those who are unfamiliar with God, presenting Him to them in ways they may never have envisioned.
MY THOUGHTS
This book truly pushed me beyond my comfort zone and inspired me to share the gospel in ways that haven't been explored before. It's essential to remember that Jesus wasn't focused on religion like the Pharisees; rather, He emphasized building relationships with people and fulfilling His father's mission.
Everything Jesus accomplished during His time on Earth was done in a non-traditional manner, often unsettling those who were accustomed to the norm. With Jesus, there are no strict guidelines—only the Law He came to fulfill along with the Ten Commandments.
While Jesus was present, He engaged in radical actions that polarized people, making some adore Him while others despised Him. He acted with integrity, nobility, and love. He revealed His true essence, and now it's our responsibility to embody that and continue the work He desires to accomplish through us as His children.
